9/11 Commissioner slips up, says missile hit Pentagon

Add to this a statement made by Donald Rumsfeld to a reporter for Parade Magazine  on October 12, 2001, and what do you have? You tell me:

“It is a truth that a terrorist can attack any time, any place, using any technique and it’s physically impossible to defend at every time and every place against every conceivable technique. Here we’re talking about plastic knives and using an American Airlines flight filled with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center. The only way to deal with this problem is by taking the battle to the terrorists, wherever they are, and dealing with them.”

  1. “Taking the battle to the terrorists…” O.K. Cheney is somewhere up in Wyoming and G.W Bush is in a Dallas suburb, Jeb is in FL and Marvin is still with Stratesec or Securacom or their Middle-Eastern holding company. Rumsfeld is on a Montana ranch. William Kristol is still in the news and Rove just wrote a book. It shouldn’t be that hard to find Condaleeza Rice. Does anyone have the courage to “deal with them”? A nation of cowardly deniers, pansies and whimps. What a joke! We don’t even have the intelligence and courage to deal with the truth of 9/11. Why should anyone respect us? We don’t respect ourselves.

  2. They still haven’t given up on trying dissuade people from the fact that the Pentagon jet was perfectly parked on the ground level at full speed. An experienced truck driver with an 18-wheeler might not get that right at one-fifth of the speed.
